Honestly I've had such a good experience with the Takeda LTCAI that I'll never own another vehicle that I don't immediately buy a upgraded intake for. Looks great under the hood, does good stuff for power and sound, and doesn't cost much at all.

Awesome ! Yes I was actually looking for a base 7AT convertible because the only difference between the base and S models (correct me if I am mistaken) is 19 in wheels, BBK, difference bumpers, and different suspension tuning, mostly aesthetics. As long as I get the same engine and trans from the S model, that's all I cared about LOL And the base is lighter than the S as well.

G37 Convertible - 3.7 L V6, 325 hp (242 kW), weight 4,083 lb (1,852 kg)
G37 Convertible Sport 6MT - 3.7 L V6, 325 hp (242 kW), weight 4,149 lb (1,882 kg)

In a few months, I'll probably start on the paddle shifters if my car is prewired and add a FTSB. I'll add everything on one at a time to see if I can feel the difference with each mod. Anything happening soon with your G ?

Update!! I'm picking up my motordyne sway bars this weekend. I just sent the payment to FBean parts for my swift springs. I plan on having the entire car finished in the next 2-3 weeks.

Motordyne sways are already in your sig, so I guess this is a second set.

I wonder where you're going to mount these?

Is it wrong to list them before install?? I've already paid for them but I just haven't had time to go pick them up John. It's been a hard/bad month and half for me.

Clearly you didn't read the forum handbook on sig line etiquette.

Don't make me report you.

Yeah I know I've been AWOL for a few weeks or so. It's just been a rough month that's all. I ain't pm'ed you a couple times but I just didn't feel like getting on the site or anything else for that matter.

But all is well now! I'm stoked about finishing out my major mods these next few weeks. Then I'll set my sights on the engine bay. How are you Brad?

I know I've been a ghost for a while but believe it or not I missed my G37 fam

Red I thought by now you would have bags and be rollin low? What's the hold up??

Let me know when you're done and have some free time. As long as my bulbs come in next week I should be getting most of mine wrapped up next week. Maybe...

It ebbs and flows. And if you've recently done a lot with the car, then there's going to be some necessary downtime afterwards.

Personally, I'm done for 2016. That kind of final moment always seems to coincide with early Fall, probably because of the impending Northeast Winter. Over the snowy months, I buy parts that collect in the corner of my office, waiting for Spring.

Rinse. Repeat. It's all good.

Red, I'm sure you're getting the springs and sways installed at the same time. However, you might want to consider spacing them out a few weeks. No particular reason except you won't be able to appreciate the modifications with individual focus. That might sound like psychobabble, but if you think about it... no one has a gun to your head to do both right away. And if you stretch it out, you have two separate events to enjoy.

This is solid advice. I may have the springs installed first and then do the sways a week or two later. No reason except convenience and possibly a small amount of $$ saved by having them done together. Thanks John. Here's some pics of the swifts opened up.

You're welcome, Red. Patience is the best way to enjoy this hobby, IMO.

So... Camber & Toe kit with those springs? Or are you going to see how it goes first without?

Also, lowered with aftermarket sways on a 4200 pound car... at some point I suspect you'll be wanting new swaybar endlinks. Something to keep in mind as a planned mod, say a year from now.
