Red's build thread
Figure 1+ hour install for the sways, and 2-3 hours for the springs. $200 is very fair.

OK, now it's making sense~that tweaked rear wheel is the one that was the side that had the bent OEM control arm, so you're still bent.
Hopefully everything will go just fine here on out, and agree $200 is more than fair for the work they'll be doing.
Those calipers really look just right behind those wheels too

Yes I'm very excited about the homecoming thing. Especially since my car will be all but completed for this drive around the stadium. Not to mention my son will be in the back alongside my daughter!
He's gonna walk out with the queen tho. My girl is gonna walk out for the 11th grade class. So it's kinda like they both won this year! What's funny is when I was a kindergartener I was also chosen to walk out as the queens little escort. Funny how things work out

She won't be finished until tom sometime. Most likely in the evening. But I'm ok with that. All the rear stuff is done... sway bar, swifts, center caps and lugs. Tom we'll do the fronts!!! I'm freakin over the moon about how the wheels look now!! I mean just look at those wheels (drool) happy just doesn't say it guys!

Let's start with baby fully running and safely in the garage! First time in much muvh too long.

Going to give the springs a week to settle just in case, then head for an alignment. But the point is.
Wheel gap...GONE. Sway bars....ON.
Better pics in da morn!

Waiting for that breathless "Hell yeah!" post about the handling now that you've got those Motrodyne sways on the car.

Nice job Reddi, from the pics it looks like the back is pretty slammed compared to the front, but alignment and camera angle could be playing tricks too.
Glad you're almost to the finish line.

Yep that's the bolt hanging halfway out on the front drivers side upper control arm. Bad news if it would've came out! I'm not really sure what would've happened, but I don't think it would've been good. He's bringing the bolt over after work this evening to put it on.
Question for you John. With your sway bars what setting did you go with? I went with the middle setting on the rears and the softer setting in the front. Should I go with the tighter setting up front? If so it'd be great if you answered before 6:30. That way I can have him help me change it out while he's there for almost costing me a wheel or my life last night lol.
Man, that rear is low, and noticeably zero-gap compared to the front. Front looks great, IMO, rears... not so much (to me). While it looks better than otherwise, it might be something that festers under your skin after a while. That's what happened to me, and why I went with CO's after a year.

Same here, but you've got a totally different car, Red. The Vert has LOTS more weight. AFAIK, the people who go beyond the middle/soft settings on aftermarket swaybars are doing so to try and change an observed behavior on a road course. That's not you, buddy. So just stick with middle/soft and call it a day
Ok thank you. I'll call it a day in the sway. .

Glad that bolt connected to that ball joint was found in time, that could've really made for an ugly situation.
BTW, since you may want to raise the rear I wonder if you could go hybrid like John did w/ some Coilovers in back. Not sure about the coupe but I'd guess the rear would be compatible w/ other brands of coilovers since AFAIK the setup is the same. Just food for thought.

I was thinking I'd give it a few weeks or so. Then if I'm still not happy, I'll go searching thru John's BT. Sound like a plan everybody? It may be growing on me....but I'm a huge fan of symmetry
