^ Yeah it fits the standard 2.75" outside diameter filter (ie Mobil M1-108), I *think* it should fit the larger filters (ie Mobil M1-110) as well if the outside diameter is still the same just the height of filters are different.

^ I've been waiting for your group buy on them! Can't you see the canvas is blank waiting for the GTR badge?

Speaking of which, here is a video from a friend's car last month of my brother and I playing around.

Tony, the car just keeps looking better and better.

Are the vents going to be functional? I'm toying with a few things now... I think they'll work out okay. I hope.

To be honest I'm not sure, we plan to put them right over the manifold areas. While I'm sure they will help the heat situation, with the severe heat we are having in TX I'm not sure if they will cool things down enough. I'm eventually going to get a new vented hood altogether but since I have so many other things to buy the GTR ducts will be the quick fix.

In the past few weeks my Southbend Stage 3 Endurance clutch had started slipping in the higher gears. I called Southbend and I was told that the clutch should hold around 480 torque... At the flywheel! I'm at 525 wheel torque so it slipping is kind of to be expected, it did hold pretty well the last 4+ months though. On top of that my transmission, which has 94k miles, has started grinding in 5th gear and 6th gear. This isn't a total surprise considering how much power the car puts out now, but it wasn't an issue that I was anticipating to happen. I called a local salvage yard to get a used transmission and they delivered it within a few hours!

But, that means my car will be going back to the shop very soon. Luckily, I have obtained most of the parts for my next phase (including those already posted):

Special thanks to phunk for the first ever CJM Stage 3 Fuel Return System for HR motors, as well as the picture!

Since this is happening sooner than I was planning there are two things that I wanted to get but I just can't afford them when the transmission is thrown into the mix. I guess those will have to wait until next year or so, hopefully this is enough to tide me over until then!

^ Well I wanted to build it to drive it so hopefully it can stay on the road and it won't become an audi/volkswagen where they are in the shop longer than they are on the road!

Sorry to hear about your tranny woes, Tony, but welcome to the world of FI!

I'm already on my second tranny and just about ready to breakdown and by a used tranny to send off to Level 10 for a full build. I'm tired of mine slipping in higher gears.... of course, mine's an auto, but either way, these cars weren't built from the factory for 500+HP/400+TQ or even 600+HP/500+TQ in your case!

Wow. Awesome shot, Tony! When was that one taken? I noticed that your fogs are still installed in that pic, so probably pre TT.

^ The photo was taken almost a year ago! We've been meaning to reconvene and do new pictures and video but life has just happened to everyone and so things have been on the backburner.

When we're both up and running well we need to get our G's together! (also, maybe after my stroker build)
