Knock on wood. It's been 13 weeks.
Yesterday, just like any other day. Nothing. Not a word.

93 Days now.

The new, new shipping date is April 3rd.

Did you end up using different tips than what the sedan kit comes with?

I didn't end up doing anything, because the cat-back still hasn't shipped. However, since their supply of exhaust tips is what's hanging up all their current orders, I did reach out to FI and offer my willingness to consider alternative exhaust tip options. That probably won't happen, but I put it out there anyway.

Originally, I wanted the ARK Grip, which would have meant getting replacement tips right away as part of the exhaust upgrade (because the ARK tips are so freaking hideous.) But since the FI tips are pretty darn good as-is, the pressure was off on replacing them... if at all.

[edit]

Both 1cleanG and Kevin@FI have assured me the hold-up will be resolved this week. Here's hoping for an end-of-week shipment. FWIW, recent PM's and emails have been very professional from both of them. That always makes a huge difference.

Slowly getting over the hump from frustrated to excited. Knock on wood.

And it's April 3rd, which was the next, latest-greatest expected shipping date.

Still not end-of-day on the West Coast... a few hours yet.

99 Days and counting.

^^^ LOL

Overnight, I received UPS shipment info from Fast Intentions, intended for next Friday.

Why is everything always "next Friday"?

Last year I learned the lesson about making installation schedules without actually having the correct parts in my possession, so that means I can't do that until the exhaust arrives. And *that* means I can't make schedule until the following Monday, and who knows about my mechanic's availability.

So at a minimum, I'm 2 weeks out for installation. I think I can do that, as long as plans are actually in motion, and parts are in-hand.

So about 105 days from order inception, at least you had the foresight to order during the winter crud.
Looking forward to this.

Rochester,

Wow. The car build has come along way. I was going through my old threads where basically we were bone stock, the GS sedan and your MW sedan, and now it's all grown up, lol.

Car is look great. I like all the subtle but detail oriented mods you did. The grille especially, haha.

Can't wait to see more progression.

Definite bummer that it's taking so long John. At any rate, looking forward to your pending install.
