Nice job Rochester! Appreciate the pics and review. You've convinced me to pick up the Leatherique cleaner and conditioner kit. I've always used Po Boy's Leather Stuff which conditions the leather and smells awesome, but I like that this kit revitalizes and seems to be a more involved procedure with arguably better results.

Exactly! Don't forget to yell "BAM BAM BAM", or it won't work.

Three or four, maybe. But actually, Goonz, I'm good without it. It's been over two years of consideration, and I'm still of a mind that the car (my car) looks better without than with. Granted, it's not a landslide decision in my mind, but still... no chin.

Maybe I'll change my mind someday. Like if I ever do install a stillen roof wing, that might affect how I look at the chin.

LatheWerks Ti-****

Waiting on a buddy that's helping me with the two-person dance necessary to remove the OEM ****. But until then... sure is a pretty thing.

Solid Titanium, tear-drop shaped shift **** with matching titanium shift-boot retainer ring. Custom made, by hand, by LatheWerks.com.

Another well thought out addition John, everything is coming together so well.

You're like the Picasso of car modifications

Good luck w/ the removal.

LOL. Picasso was faster, and he did all his own work.

You're doing your own work, just w/ others' parts.

Going to be a few days before we can get to removing the OEM ****, so last night I put the Titanium **** in the freezer.

Fine little experiment that was recommended to me, and OMG that was brutal. Painfully, unbearably cold to the touch. Taking forever to warm up.

So, lesson learned: I'm going to need the OEM leather & plastic **** for winter months. Sure hope we don't destroy the thing taking it off.

Aren't you concerned its going to be unbearably hot to touch in the summer?

No. I live in Upstate NY, not Nevada. Plus, the car is almost always in my garage. And when I take it out and park it in the sun somewhere during the Summer, I've got this nice Covercraft sunshade here to offset the cabin heat.
