Will i need extended studs for spacers

i have a 2012 g37 sedan lowered on tein coilovers and stock 17” journey wheels and theyre pretty tucked into the wheel well and i was planning on getting 10mm spacers to put on and i was wondering if i needed extended studs or not. gonna be going with z1 motorsports 10mm spacers
also its recommended that i get an alignment done again right?

No, you won't need to get the car realigned because of the spacers. You're not doing anything that will jeopardize the alignment.

Yes, you'll need extended length studs. Pretty sure the conventional wisdom here is it's OK for 5mm or less. But anything over 5mm, you should be getting longer studs.

However, if instead you go with 15mm hub-centric adapters, you can avoid the hassle entirely. I use 15mm adapters in the winter with my OEM wheels and snow tires. If you go this route, get yourself a set of open-ended, spline-drive lug nuts. Don't use the crappy little half-height lug nuts that come with the adapters. Use a quality set of lug nuts that secure to the hub on every available thread. Here's a pic:

in some videos i saw that people would take out the oem studs and put in the aftermarket ones in their place and then proceed from there so im not sure if i need extra nuts or anything
like this guy took off the oem bolts

Right. That's the difference between spacers and spacer adapters.

If you read Z1's website they tell you what requires extended studs and what does not.

Weird situation

I recently hit a pothole and my car got almost every wheel bent or cracked. Im going to pick up some OEM q50 wheels which should fit the g37. The Q50 has a 50mm offset and its a square set up. they are 19inch wheels 8.5inches wide and have the 5x114.3 lug pattern. Im worried about the clearance for the breaks so im going to get those 15mm spacers and hopefully all goes well. I will follow up with yall soon and send pictures.

I want some new wheels myself but damn these sport calipers are huge. Limits greatly the number of wheels that will clear them without spacers. Am trying to avoid using spacers in the front cause of bad experience with them in thew past. I used the 15mm but it made my wheel stick out past the fender and it would splash water, mud, and rocks on the side of my car. Not to mention the dead and heavy steering it caused.

So I recently got new wheels and they had to put spacers on for the wheels to clear my akebono brakes but after I got the put in my car has felt weird and now if I go passed 60 my front 2 wheels start to shake (front two tire are the only ones that have 1/4 spacers) and I wanted to see what I should do to fix this?

Using 10mm spacers on your 2012 G37 sedan might indeed require extended studs for safety and proper fit. It’s great that you’re considering Z1 Motorsports for the spacers; they’re known for quality parts. After installation, getting an alignment is definitely a good call to ensure your car handles correctly and to avoid uneven tire wear. For any additional parts you might need, such as the extended studs, you can check out parts geek; they usually have a good assortment of automotive components.

Did they use hub centric spacers?
