What TPMS should i get

What TPMS should i get

I am installing new wheels and i see a set of TPMS can range from $80 to $350
What should i get and what can i get away with
I want quality and no issues, but i like my money also
What have you used without issue?

I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you. Or, just search this forum for "tpms". It's quick, easy and above all, SAFE.

you can get a full set of used OEMs with new valvstems on ebay for about 40.00 ...I'm on my third set from ebay and have never had one die, most sellers provide some warranty too

Oh I'm a heavy search and read guy
problem with searching is
Titles only doesn't bring up much
Searching posts brings up a lot lot lot to sift through
I didn't find much related to sourcing tpms

So eBay used is they way to go huh

Can anyone speak to these sensors??

ACDELCO TPMS173K - https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...812&cc=1503760

I am about to purchase them and wanted to know how hard it is for my mechanic to reprogram the sensors..... he is saying he doesn't have the machine to do it and I would have to go to a Nissan/Inf dealership?!?

I would probably find someone who could install them correctly before I purchased them. Dealer may be a pain in the *** about setting them up since they are not nissan products.

Welp, I gambled and got them anyways. There goes $200 CAD down the drain. RockAuto has never been wrong to me an the guy I'm buying tires from has a "Maxi" Tool to relearn/reset the TPMS but he says he has trouble with Infiniti & Lexus vehicles. Of course ACDELCO website has no instructions on which tools they're compatible with, other than advertising how "easy it is to relearn with any OE" tool. So we'll see my luck......sighhhh

How did you make out with your sensors. I bought mine from NAPA. They did not need to be programmed but they do need to be "relearned", which there is a how to on this site. Ive yet to do it.
