No TPMS light with no TPMS

So early in November, I installed my winter wheels without TPMS in them. I drive the car maybe 20 miles a week. Any thoughts as to why the TPMS light has not come on yet?? I'm not complaining but it's kind of weird...now that i've just jinxed myself it'll probably come on now O.o

I believe they aren't "tripped" until you drive at speeds over 55 mph. If you're not hitting the interstate that could be why

Odd...you would think they'd be "tripped" at any speed that showed little or no tire pressure.

That might be how it works. The light did not come on for a week when I put the winters on until the car was driven on the highway.

I'll take it for a highway romp then to see if I can get it to work. I like it off but would rather have it working instead.

Maybe you don't have the TPMS on your Sport. I don't think I have it on mine. Was it an option or standard eq? I've got the 08 Sport too. I've been through the menu on the dash and I've yet to find hide nor hare of it.
Cheers

It has it. I took it for some highway driving and it came on.

Isn't it a law now that all cars must have some form of TPMS as a standard feature. It's suppose to be a safety item, but most people only complain about it rather than find out why it's on.
