Just picked up a set of factory front rotors and pads for my G37. Are both of these items made my Akebono? I noticed that the boxes for the rotors say "Made in USA" and I believe the packaging on the pads says "Made in Japan".
Rotors and pads are considered consumables so there may be several supplier to the Manufacturer. Akebono only makes the calipers and even then only for the sport models.
