How Reliable are Lowering Springs for a Daily Driver?

So I'm looking to lower my G a bit, but I'm trying not to break the bank on some $1500 coilovers. I'm also not trying to slam it, because I daily drive it and I'm in/out of the mountains almost daily. I want to get rid of some wheel gap in the front mainly, without killing ride quality and clearance.

I found a set of Eibach Pro-Kit springs for about $260 (link below), but I'm wondering if they're worth it. I've heard running springs will decrease the life on your struts, which I don't want to do. The drop is estimated at a 1.2" in the front and .5" in the rear, which is just about perfect for what I'm looking for.

I really want to drop her before a mountain run the first weekend of November this year, but I don't want to cheap out, and I also don't want to break the bank. I want to make sure these springs will ride decent and handle decent, as well as be reliable for a daily driver. Just looking to get rid of a little wheel gap is the whole purpose of them, honestly. The IPL suspension I have is great in the corners, so I don't need better handling.

Will ride a bit more rough but nothing too extreme, Eibach is the way to go.

Prices, noises, and ride comfort?

You can do the research just like I did.. there are comparisons and reviews all over the site..

If you have the sport model eibachs with the sport suspension you won't feel much of a difference with eibachs to be honest. I loved the way my ride was on my sport coupe

No need to get all defensive there.. but whats the point of saying you did the research if your not gonna share.. jus saying. and ive never heard of a price noise or ride comfort issue with eibachs.

I just installed some eibachs on my journey sedan. The ride feels the same if they road nice and paved, but I definitely can feel the difference going over bumps. It's not bad, but it is more harsh than oem journey springs. I also replaced my front and rear sway bars at the same time so the harsher ride could be due to the sway bars. As a whole the combination of eibach sway bars and springs is awesome! My car feels sportier and is more fun to drive.
