handling help, need suggestions

i've been working on tightening up my handling.

so far i've done:
eibach springs on stock shocks
whiteline swaybars set on stiffest front + rear

this combo was PERFECT from a handling perspective, and gave me the look I was going for also. The downside of this was there was absolutely NO dampening, even small potholes and rocks had jarring impact (I wonder if my front shocks were shot?)

Then, I saw a deal on here for preowned tanabe sustec coils that I couldn't resist since I've been curious about the ride on coilovers.

after the coilovers were installed, i noted that there was a huge increase in ride comfort over springs, but some of the mushy/boat/floaty feeling i've had on all my cars had returned. if it wasnt for the notable increase in comfort, i'd switch back to my springs in a heartbeat.

1. ) i'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations which would get me closer to the "riding on rails" feeling I'm looking for?
2.) I hear a lot of talk about swaybar endlinks - how do I know if/when I need them?

thx in advance

If you still have your Eibach springs you might try going w/ Koni Yellow dampers. It does sound like your OEM dampers were getting tired.

thank for your responses guys i really appreciate it.

swaybars: I've got whiteline swaybars set on the stiffest setting.

koni yellows Would koni yellows + eibach springs typically provide more precise handling + dampening than coilovers? if so then i'll definitely consider ditching the coils and getting some konis, i have heard good things

endlinks: what about swaybar endlinks? can someone explain the magic behind that? can i visually see if i need new endlinks?

The Koni Yellows would be an improvement over cheaper coilovers as far as handling & dampening. If you went w/ something like a KWV3 then the coilovers would get the nod, but those are about $2k give or take.

As long as you're happy w/ the Eibach height I think the Konis would be a good plan.

Crystal clear response, thanks blnewt. I wish there was a way to demo these different setups before committing! I bet being hands-on would be a good upsell/sales pitch for the V3s

Sorry I meant thicker sway bars. Whiteline is basically same as OEM diameter but with stiffness/travel settings (27mm/24mm). Eibach (32mm/29mm) and Hotchkis (35mm/28.5mm) are significantly thicker and stiffer. Hope this helps.

I'm running Swift springs one Koni Yellows. Comfort is still there, rides like on rails.
Also have Hotchkiss bars.

Had Eibach on stock dampers, I know how you feel.

Hotchkis is a hollow bar, makes it lighter, but not the stiffness of a solid 35mm.
