Help Rear spc camber question.
Ok so I read through this whole thread and then just went to check my car outside out of curiosity.
I am dropped on Fortune Auto Coilovers with Swift Springs (8" rear)
-rear camber arms from SPC (straight)
-front SPC control arms
-rear SPC toe bolt as well
*all installed correctly
I have the stock rear sport sway bar still
I am lowered about 25.75" all around.
The ride is great and I have had 0 noises or contact between my stock rear sport sway bar. (Coupe)
I took a pic and the clearance looks like 1.25-1.5" Fortunately I have my coils set to a stiffer setting but i did not realize they where that close. I noticed the picture difference as well (curved vs. straight) but read online how it was a new updated design/version.
"Dear SPC this new one works but as mentioned above limits clearance for aftermarket sways (they were on my to do list). Please go back to your curved version and just beef them up with a stronger design without causing a clearance issue. Did you ever get a report or claim that a curved unit broke while in use??? I am sure it is less expensive to mfg the straight type... I would suggest from customer service standpoint to at least offer us dropped customers an exchange or a nice discount off a new set if you go back to the curved original design. If the redesign was recent you could not have sold that many straight sets."

They are very easily adjustable and the ride is excellent tho. I just would prefer to have a little more clearance.
Anyways ... pic attached for reference.

^awesome. Exactly what I was looking for. That's a solid 2" drop from OEM so this was a perfect reference to put all us straight arms at ease. Kinda wish I could see the clearance from a diff angle but the supplied pic is much appreciated. Thanks.
SPC superseded the curved arm with the straight arm. In the interest of strength, reportedly. You will have to call around or try a different manufacturer. SPL makes the rear arm but it's pricey like their front upper control arm.
