Cost for Camber kit install
Hey guys
I need to get a SPC rear camber kit installed with the adjustable arms and the extended toe bolt and I'm tying to get an idea of what the install should cost. I've asked a couple shops and they've all given me a very wide range of estimates ($65-$85/hr with 1-4 hours of labor). I know there is drilling involved for the extended toe bolt so I guess this is the only reason I'm hesitant on doing this myself. Just wondering what guys have paid so I can get a better idea of what this will cost.
Thanks!

***Also you ONLY need to cut the side of the slots that are to the center of the vehicle (toward the rear differential) this is the side that the bolt will be sliding to, no need to cut anything to the outside of the template. And test fit the bolt when cutting the slot, you ONLY want the bolt to be snug in the slot NOT loose. As long as you can turn the bolt w/ some force you'll be fine, no slop.
Also make a mark on each toe slot where the center point of each ORIGINAL bolt lines up, this will get your alignment back to where you were once you install the new bolts.
As far as the arms, they're simple, but measure your OEM arms and extend/contract the new SPC arms until they're the same length, then also mark the center point of your camber bolts in their slot, this will get your camber close to where you were before, that way you can drive safely until your springs settle and get it officially aligned.

Alright I'm convinced, I'm going to tackle this one myself. Based on that DIY, the Dremel work looks a lot less scary then it sounded. Thanks for the persuasion!
I was charged $100.00 for the install of SPC F&R camber kit. They did an alignment right after the install because I had sways and springs installed at the same time. I am having another alignment in a week or two now that everything has settled.

$100 seems very fair for both front and rear installs. I was expecting to pay that for the rear alone.
I just got quote from one shop for swift spring n camber kit f+r $1380...... ONLY labor its insane...... and they are saying its 10 hrs job there is no way i'm going to throw my money there.
