Attention Eiback Pro Kit Spring Owners

Greetings from beautiful Cincinnati....

Those of you who have lowered your G37S using this kit, did you:

1) Require camber kit front, back or both or was the stock camber adjustable enough?
2) Did you replace your shocks to handle the stiffer springs?

Just curious. I found a race shop out here that will do quality work and need to know what I am in for.

Thanks for your feedback.

1) I only have the rear camber kit. When the shop did my alignment, he said the fronts were close enough to stock that I didn't need camber.

2) There are no aftermarket shocks I'm aware of that we can get unless you get coilovers.

W the Eibachs, your front camber will be ok until the SPC fronts come out. The OEM shocks can handle the lowering of the Eibachs, only decreasing life by maybe 10%. If you are interested in Eibach and SPC rear, we have a sale right now on them in the vendor thread.

No camber kit for me, looks like my rear are wearing a tad in the inside... This being noticed after a month of being lowered. Geting 20s rims soon so will probably get a camber kit then for new tires.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to see if my shop will order from you guys as he charges me $20/hr more for bringing in my own parts vs. ordering from him. He does great work. Performance Alignment in Blue Ash, OH

I have Eibach + Rear Camber Kit and the alignment was truly off after the install. But the dealership did a splendid job of taking care of that.

No worries or issues and the springs have settled nicely. I love the way my car looks now.

negative camber is visible on my car right now, But I think the spacers contributed in that too..
I'll see what dealer has to offer regarding alignment but otherwise im definitely going with some camber arms

Dan in Cincy,

I just had my car into Infiniti of Cincinnati on Monday, and Dan (he's on this forum) set me up for my 15k maintenance and an alignment. I had my Eibach's installed about 3 months ago, and the guy who installed them got the alignment as close as he could at that time.

After 2 months of spring settling, the dealership got me really close to spec!! No camber kit, no toe arms, nothing other than springs. Here's the alignment sheet; he even wrote in some notes for me to explain what all the numbers mean.

If you look at the spec sheet, the recommended camber is below 1.8 in the rear, and 1.5 in the front. So I'm right at the outlying boundary of the recommended range for camber. The toe is just slightly off to compensate for the negative camber, so these alignment specs are completely acceptable for me.

On a side-note: anyone near Cincinnati, I highly recommend Infiniti of Cincinnati. Class-A dealership, great customer service, and they had one of Igor's pictures set as the background on some of the dealership computers. Dan will definitely make sure you get taken care of; great experience!

Let me add to this that my springs have just settled andactually need to have aligned again as mentioned by my dealership. Yes my dealership "SouthMotors" in Miami Florida told me with the Eibachs there isn't need for a camber kit. As a note my car was lowered by them.

Got Eibachs with only a rear camber kit. After the install EVERYTHING was out of wack, once I got it aligned, they were able to get the rear back in spec. They got the front toe back in spec (which is key) but it still had a little negative camber in the front, which isnt a huge deal.
