G37xS - Suspension Questions

Ok guys I've seen many on the road with the badge on that reads (g37xs) on a sedan. Now my simple question ISSS, if the g37xs sedan is an actual trim option (which means it should have sport suspension on a awd sedan which I guessing would be koni dampers just like the sport sedan) then should they be interchangeable for the g37x sedan that I have. I want swift springs but don't want them with stock dampers, so guys plz let me know if this is possible, I'm going to call a dealership today to find out if the trim is officially n if so can the simply be swapped. Thank in advance.

The xS Sedan didn't come with a sport suspension. Dampers and RSB are the same as the non-Sport.

The only suspension differences between the Sedans was a thicker RSB in the RWD car (irrespective of the Sport Package), a lower engine cradle brace in the AWD car (also irrespective of the Sport Package), and sport-tuned Tokico dampers in the RWD Sedan with the Sport Package (which included the 6MT, naturally.)

That's it.

Damn man that really sucks, but thanks guys this is why I ask to be informed. It sucks though I really want swift springs for the perfect drip they provide but I hear when paired with stock dampers you get a real nasty ride.smh.

Nasty ride is subjective. They are progressive springs, so it’s hard to tune around the variable spring rates with any shock.

your right some ppl say the g37s sedan rides rough, I've owned Altima se-r on lowering springs n it was rough but not bouncy which is what I've read most with the swift n stock dampers, I can deal with rough but don't want to be bouncing all over the place n for some reason no one can chime in on that combo, g37x sedan with stock dampers n swift springs.

I have an awd sport coupe with swift springs. Not a harsh ride at all. Not bouncy either. The ONLY time I feel a difference from stock is when hitting a real bad pothole or big sudden drop. Actually I think it rides much better than stock. Not nearly as much roll when cornering and the car feels more responsive. No regrets here. My 2 cents.

I have KYB shocks and struts with swift and the ride is really good I love it so far. I have a G37xS coupe. Btw the rear shocks are interchangeable with the regular G37 except the fronts

To be honest it legit rides like stock and actually a bit better on normal roads. But when you hit bumps you do feel it but it’s nothing dramatic. This is just my opinion and also my first car that I have ever lowered. Another thing make sure to get rear camber arms and toe bolts. If anything I would recommend getting front camber arms also but that just depends on if you’re okay with driving on -2 degree camber up front.
