Have you used VHT Flameproof? That's the best I've found.

Finally got them installed. Here are some quick phone camera pictures I grabbed. Braking is VERY smooth with these. I would personally say I am happy with the upgrade. Sorry about the extremely over exposed second picture.

If you resurfaced your rotor without changing your pads, you could have brought the problem back. Problem could be with the pads themselves. I just switched yesterday from drilled/slotted rotors back to a resurfaced oem blank. I've got stoptech street pads, love the bite, but as mentioned previously, they dust up quite a bit. Can't speak for Hawk pads, did want to try them out this time, however got a good deal on my pads from RockAuto.
