Advice on Brakes
Need some advice on brakes. I do a lot of high speed driving, I had this vibration on my base model g37 when I brake, took it to the shop and they found heat marks on the rotors and recommended me to change them only 40k miles on them, they told me I should get drilled and slotted in the front since my tears are good to help with that so it won't occur again since the way I drive. I wouldn't be okay wit centric premium blanks instead of the drilled and slotted? Heard drilled and slotted required more maintenance and don't last as long?
Looking at Centric drilled and slotted, z1 drilled and slotted, DBA drilled slotted input on them or any other recommendation?

Drilled and slotted rotors are just for looks. Blanks have more contact area with the pads and greter thermal mass, which means more friction, better stopping power and better cooling. You also get less noise and longer pad life

What he said^^^^, and the Centric Premiums have better venting than their standard rotors which is another benefit. And for pads the Hawk HPS 5.0 get great reviews, be sure it's the 5.0 line, they seem to be a nice improvement over the regular HPS sets. Although I don't believe they have pads for every Infiniti model AFAIK.

Went ahead and ordered centric premium blanks, really wanted the centric stoptech sport slotted from rock auto but many mixed reviews about slotted and drilled rotors just to be safe got the premium blanks due to maintenance and reliability since they can be resurfaced if needed in the future.

From all the reviews on both I would say the 5.0s are a better pad for spirited daily driving, not as much dust, less uneven pad deposits and similar braking performance. If you already have Stoptech pads I'd run them for a while, but if you don't have pads yet or need new ones I'd run the 5.0s.
Had my mechanic install the centric premium rotors today! Haven't driven it yet but they seem to look more functional than the oem ones? Do they req break in? If so what the beak in process
No break in w/ rotors but your pads may need to be bedded in again depending on what compound you're running.

I have been riding on the stoptech slotted drilled rotors with Duralast ceramic brake pads for about a week now and I must say I can definitely feel the difference. I am extremely happy with my purchase!
