Swift Springs with OEM 18"?
Hello all,
I am currently in the market for some swift springs for my 2010 x coupe.
I will be looking to upgrade to 20" wheels in the future, but for now I will be rolling with the stock 18's.
My question is, will this effect the AWD system at all with the 18s? I've seen everyone that has lowered their AWD G have 20's.
Also, once I get the 20's, I would be switching back to the 18s for the winter.
Any comments?

You will probably need alignment kits as well. Our cars have ZERO adjustability in the front and very limited adjustability in the rear. It's about a 50/50 mix of people who buy the kits to get toe AND camber in spec, with the other 50% just getting toe in spec and not worrying about camber. Of the 50% that goes without alignment kits, it seems that over half of them add on one or both of the kits after their first set of $1,000 tires wear out prematurely.
You DEFINITELY will not get back into OEM specs for camber AND toe without the alignment kits, it's more about controlling the tire wear at that point by dialing out toe and running camber a bit out of spec to compensate. This typically still results in premature tire wear, just not as dramatic as having toe out of spec.

Here is their thread advertising the alignment kits. You can just send them a private message telling them the parts you need and they will take care of you.
