Nothing seems to be going your way lately, sure hope you get something definitive w/ your cracking issues, at least the wheel shake seems to be minimized, sorry to hear about the dented rims though.
Hoping better luck is just around the corner

I'm sorry to hear of all your problems, but like I said before, it really sounds like an installation issue.

From: Framingham Ma,
I agree 100% seems like the more I drove it the more issues arose? After I get the second opinion if there was an install issue loose bolt ETC I will ask for some of my funds back. I now have to wait to the reg before I can drive the car again.

Guys.... im having similar issues. I cannot duplicate any sound lifting on the car or jumping up and down in the trunk. (Im 50 and this neighbor was looking at me like wtf?) Anyway, the noise I have is exactly as you guys describe it.... rolling along in 1st gear.... it creaks.... a dull rattle. Turning the car sharply to create side to side motion does nothing.... no noise. Driving the car is agravating. Im not so sure anymore if its JUST the right side but now both sides. That may explain why swapping shocks still appeared to be a right side issue only. My car is a 2010 and only has 22k miles on it and im positive that the noise is eemanating from the very top where the shock mounts.... maybe it IS the shocks themselves and NOT the spring. I have really looked at all the possibilities and im at a loss. Ive run out of ideas.

I will tell you though, Pete has been very helpful thru PMs. I know we will figure it out eventually.... but right now im perplexed, totally. Ive turned alot of wrenches, but this ones got me.

From: Framingham Ma,
I'm getting turning the car also tho . But that will probaly be a install thing .
I was talking to another guy today and seems to thing it's the platic insulator between the collar and to top part of the coilover ? Anyone's have thoughts or reason why theses are plastic and not rubber ?

I think they're plastic so the coil will slide rather than bind on the increased grip of rubber as coil binding is a common spring related problem. I've often wondered the same thing hence the rather extensive discussion about the coil isolators.
I'm sure you're about at Wits' end Mike, sure hope something positive turns up

A trip to Vegas wont be bad either huh?
What shop in Vegas did the work? Paladin is one of our vendors out there and we may be able to schedule something with him to work on the vehicle. We have some West Coast events coming up soon.

That noise is what im experiencing. Your sound clip is a bit more acute, but im assuming you had your phone right on top of the shock tower..... but I get it..... it sounds as though something internal in the shock is loose?

Something else hit me last night..... I have the damping set all the way down for a softer ride. Could THIS have something to do with it? Ive never tried increasing the damping. Are any of you guys running "0" damping?????

Effing snow today so I wont be able to adjust and try it. Im wondering if this is a common factor in ones here w the noise????

Im sending pete a pm to see. It sure would be nice if cranking in 2 or 3 of damping shuts this up.

That won't help either. From everything I've read, others with the noise have tried changing that setting too.

Just out of curiosity, do any of you who are experiencing the noises have the Swift spring upgrade or the rubber top mounts? I'm just wondering if these options would make any difference in alleviating the unwanted sounds.

That was the same noise I had as well. Mine were quiet for a few thousand km then they started to rattle so I obviously knew what i was doing with my install as they were fine initially and I used the same methods to check preload etc. after they started making noise (in addition to trying lots of other things) and I couldn't resolve the noise. It is not an install issue, it is a quality issue, unfortunately.

From: Framingham Ma,
Well I just dropped mine off at another place to look at the rears. They have a Nissan tech that works for them, went for a ride and he actually said that's not that bad, LOL meaning just sounds like it was something loose. I probably should have used them to begin with but there close to my house and not my work, An dumb luck as I'm working from home today cause some A@@ hat drove my wife off the road on Wednesday and she smashed her Q50 into a snow back to avoid a head on crash, So I had to drive her work today
