Question on Brakes
^ sigh. i can't believe how many guys are ignorant on vehicle warranties. modding your brakes will only affect warranty claims on issues related to brakes. so you can't go in and say your rotors prematurely warped and expect coverage if you've swapped out those parts yourself. changing your brakes will not void warranty on other non-related vehicle components, such as your engine or gearbox.
I think you misunderstood the OP's question, canucklehead. He asked if getting the car tuned would void the warranty, not about the brakes. Granted, he's meandering around off-topic, but it is his thread.
And to the question... IDK. I want to say, probably, but all I can say for sure is that if it did, it would only void warranty on the engine. You can't void an entire car warranty for something unrelated to the point of failure.

The Act goes into a lot of detail, so, for anyone interested, it's recommended reading.
So I have decided to upgrade my brakes with the Sport Brake Kit. The kit comes with the Calipers, Rotors, brake pads, brackets and pins. I am also going to upgrade my brake line to stainless steel. Is there any other hardware that I need.
That sounds complete, you'll also need a new spare tire/wheel that will clear the new calipers.
But do you know that for sure, that there are two different space-saver rims... one for the BBK, and another for everyone else?
I recently upgraded my '12 Journey with the full Infiniti Akebono sport brakes w/ Stoptech rotors and lines. Can I purchase a spare tire at the dealerships? Or any recommendations?
Sure, you can buy a spare wheel and tire through the dealership. It'll cost plenty. Otherwise, I have a space saver wheel/tire off a Brembo-equipped Z that I'd sell you. PM me if interested. You can also check the classifieds on this board, ebay or your local craigslist. Any of these options will be much more cost effective
