Spoiler or not?

Spoiler or not?
It's probably been asked a few times I am sure, but do you prefer the factory chrome mini spoiler of the OEM larger spoiler with the led brake lights? Your input would be helpful as I am on the fence after buying the larger spoiler and questioning whether I want to drill holes in my trunk. Thanks in advance.

First .... chrome lip is not a spoiler
Second ..... yes, a spoiler is a must
Third ..... just stick with OEM (yes, you can get cheaper non-OEM ones)
By all means, get a spoiler .... helps the looks 1000%

Yeah, spoiler helps a lot, wish it was more styled like the G35 spoiler but oh well.

IMO, the chrome trunk lip is hideous. Had mine dipped black until I buy an OEM spoiler. As a side note I hate chrome and I'm getting rid of as much chrome as I can on the car

Yeah, definitely go with the factory OEM spoiler.. It made a world of a difference when I put it on.. I did all the drilling myself.. it's scary at first, but the end results are worth it. I'm like hibeet, I hate chrome too.. the less the better.

OEM spoiler
Just installed one on my Athens blue 09 S. Looks awesome. Difficulty level maybe 2 or 3, anxiety level probably a 10 drilling into the trunk lid.
Directions have some lapses (clarity issues) due to trying to use one set for cars w & w/o cameras. Only thing I wasn't jazzed about is how the camera installs in the hole. Slight gap on both sides maybe only a millimeter, could have been remedied with a seal around the camera. I used gorilla tape and electrical tape on the backside. Will eventually use black rtv from the front if I can find a narrow enough needle that I can still push it through.
Overall very happy to be rid of the silver trim piece.
