due to height adjustment.
Our cars already come with coilovers on the front.
The aftermarket rears aren't even real coilovers.

Im running Swift Springs on Konis, the car sits at the perfect height for street and canyon use.

.
there are a couple of things I wanted to note as I didnt want OP to get misinformed.
-the Gs do not come with neither front nor rear adjustable coilovers. aftermarket coilovers tend to be adjustable.
-there isn't much advantage to having a true coilover (helper spring delete; coilover in it's place) over setup compared the oem style coilover setup (w/ helper spring) except for having a toe arm in place of the bucket (weight savings wider range of adjustability etc). Also, there exists aftermarket true adjustable coilover setups!

>if you want my opinion OP, i'm an advocate of coilovers (adjustable coilovers). it allows greater options for you to adjust how you want the car to ride.
people tend to critique getting lowered on springs for being a quick n easy aesthetic mod, however, swift, i hear, has it spot on for both aesthetics and performance. my only gripe with swift springs is that there are no swift struts to pair it up with! koni yellows or tokico blues are very popular aftermarket struts commonly used to mate with the springs. Though the brands are reputable, there's no real evidence (except for people who actually have tried them out) that they can/could work well together. from a buyer's perspective, you have the option of going with 2 separate manufacturers of springs and struts and forcibly mate them together or going with 1 mfu who has designed the spring to go with the strut (and you get a side of height and damping adjustability - not to say that other aftermarket dampers arent adjustable).
>the ride of coils are awesome because you can customize it to your preference
>don't forget coils allow the realm of corner balancing!
adjustability is awesome. adjustability allows for the driver to make educated predictions and reduce, if not eliminate, inconsistencies on how the car will drive. As Darin from West End put it, 'When you can't (help) control for inconsistencies, you are at the mercy of luck'.

Good Luck!

We can go around forever.
There will always be 2 camps to this situation.
In the end, it's your decision.
What is your goal, how much do you want to spend.

If you want to go inexpensive, try a set of Swift springs on stock dampers to start.
I no longer advise Eibachs, the ride with stock dampers is not good.

If the ride, and height is fine, youre set.
If you want more sell the springs, buy adjustable coilovers.

These Swifts have settled another 1/4" since the pic.

I have the 2012 IPL also lowered with eibach pro and like it. Im not really into the car being way too low and wheels tucked in fender. I just wanted to get rid of a little fender gap. Ride quality is awesome and the stock struts are good enough since they are dual path shock absorbers. Here's a side pic of my car...

I ended up going with the Tein SS-P coilovers and have them currently installed. I don't have good pics at the moment, but I will post later on when I decide to take some good pictures.
