That's interesting. I just installed my coilovers this weekend and noted the first line of the BC Racing manual for the G37 which stated:
"Raise both front together and secure jackstands. Having both wheels in the air will remove all pressure on the sway bar."

When I only had one wheel in the air the sway bar wouldn't move so I assumed these guys were correct. I know that when I installed my Hotchkis sway bars I did it with jack stands and there were no issues moving the sway bar around so I can attest that there is little or no load when the wheels are off the ground but I can't say that what Okita is saying is incorrect either as I never tried it with ramps.

That is interesting superjer2000. Maybe the endlinks have enough play to deal with either one of the scenario. I might still go with the ramps for stability when working under the car and I think its easier to just drive up the ramp.

I'll try the ramps first just cause they are easier and if there is still pressure on them, I'll just jack it up a few inches.

I would way have rather used ramps than the jackstands when I did my install. There is something very unnerving about working under a car when it is supported by jackstands.

Finished up today and they are awesome. The G takes corners like it is on tracks now.

Used the ramps and the bars were completely unloaded, so the hardest part was fitting my fat a&&% under the car to disconnect the exhaust.
