Attempted installing lowering springs
Lesson learned.. Need more tools before doing car work, not the business/
Once I got to remove the damn shocks&spring.. My friend and I noticed that I need an impact gun to unloosen the bolt on top of the shock..
Took us literally 5 hours to remove that damn 4 screws.. Breaker bar was bull****, so we used the jack lift as a torque lift.
We broke 1 ratchet with the first try attempting removing a nut.
I'm letting my other friend install it for me, and I don't want to deal with this bull****
, $70 for all, not bad.. Saves me time.
Will post up pictures!

Another would be mechanic learns that it ain't always as easy as it looks.
Suspension work requires that you have the correct tools.
Be very careful dealing with the springs, you can get seriously hurt by the pressure when it's released if you're doing it improperly.

the ride springs and dampeners are no joke... i mean if the stock springs decompressed on someone could've gotten injured...
yes tools are a REQUIREMENT for working on cars. they just make life so much easier... At the end of the day, there are no short cuts. Things need to be fastened, torqued, and checked/rechecked or else you're just endangering yourself, your vehicle and everyone around you..
that's not to say don't try... just do not go in blindly, do your homework and ask someone that can do it to help.
oh and please check your alignment... that's very dangerous if you went lower than 1" all around. your camber will be off...
happy modding; i hope the job comes out to exactly what you want it to be. the greatest satisfaction of doing things yourself, is the enjoying it!

My friend and I will be starting at 7:00 PM tonight.. He has ALL the required tools and he has done many lowering springs installation before going to UTI.
I will defiantly get a wheel alignment tomorrow morning. Thank You guys & hopefully it will come out how exactly I am expecting.

please tell me you atleast used spring compressors right?...even if they were from autozone..?? I'm just picturing a complete nightmare in my head from this thread right now..
also take Weilboy's advice. You want to drive the car about 100 miles before getting it alligned. go on a twisty road and allow the car to his bumps for them to full settle. The weight of the car will actually cause the car to start to drop more and more because the springs haven't been compressed for a long period of time.
