Driver door and armrest cracked leather

Driver door and armrest cracked leather

I know the cracked leather on the driver side door armrest is a known problem and they covered it under warantee. I have a 2012 G and they wont replace it. What are my other options to get this fixed?

take it to upholstery shop or buy new pieces

don't understand why the dealer or manufacturer would warranty an armrest on a car that is 8 years old. your options are replace the parts or if you are cheap and on a budget throw some tape on it.
