Front end conversion fog light wiring problem

Working on wiring the fog lights for my front end conversion. I've tapped into the factory wiring on both sides, but only the driver side works. I've tested the bulbs and ballasts on each side and they're all good. I also plugged in the old 07-09 headlight and the fog light works, so I'm stumped. The black and white wires are the ones I'm trying to tap.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm doing the front end conversion on my '07 G35 Sedan and will be tackling the fog lights in a couple of days.

Bump, anyone else know what wiring to tap to run wiring from factory harness to foglights? My 08 sedan has the fogs in the headlights, the 2010+ are down low in the bumper.
from the fsm this is all I could find on pinouts

Is this what you are looking for? It is for the Coupe but I would imagine it is the same for the sedan as well:

I would imagine you could tap those two wires anywhere along the branch and run them to your bumper. For some strange reason the ground wire for the (L) fog runs from the IPDM whereas the ground for the (R) runs to the frame. Not sure I understand the logic behind that but it something to be aware of.

Hope this helps?

As it appears you had replied while I was editing my original post..

Keep in mind that for some reason the (L) fog is grounded to the IPDM (pin #41 (blk/wht wire)) whereas the (R) fog is grounded to the car frame. I do not know why nor if it makes a difference, but I did want to point that out.
