horn keep honking

I was trying to change my gauge cluster from the 09 g37xs to install a cluster from a 2010 g37x to have it sent for repair since the gauge cluster is not reading the gas mileage properly. I reinstalled the air bag but when I reconnected the battery the horn kept going on did this ever happen to anyone b4?

I removed the air bag to make sure and try to reconnect the battery it kept making the same thing where the horn is going off.

tks in advance

Have you tried hitting your lock or unlock button on the keyfob while the horn is honking? It will usually stop.

Do you have your factory original cluster to temporarily hook it back up? See if it still activates the horn

Check out post #6 HERE

Sounds like Hashim had a similar issue with the horn.

omg thank you, I think this might be the issue because I remember removing the spring loaded screw by then I realize that it was not necessary to do so and maybe I did over tightened.

And that was the problem now anyone know what is the drawback with changing cluster cuz I do think the blue and white is better then the original on the 09.

I went from 189 000 km to 114 603 plus I need an oil change.
When I installed the air bag it doesn't sit properly???
for those who have the 2010 cluster, on my 09 I do not think Ive seen the green light for the light b4,?

That green light is a fog light indicator. It means the fog light switch is activated.

To me, just looking at the picture, the bag was not all the way down when the T30 safety bolt were installed.
It seems like the bolts were installed outside the airbag bracket and the bolts are not letting the airbag slide all the way down.
