Actually, I'm glad you bring it up!

We have potentially located a source for the factory connectors and have samples on the way. If they work as expected, we will film the installation video and have them released sooner than expected.

These things are a lot harder to source than you'd imagine, but we appreciate everyone's patience and look forward to providing another update shortly.

Hey Gang,

Is there a way to have the factory rear turn signals incorporated as the dedicated brake lights, and subsequently have the stock LED rings go on with light switch engagement and double as turn signals? I have the triton V3's in the current factory rear turn signals which are plenty bright to be full time break lights.

Just installed mine and retained factory turn signal though with an LED in there now to keep up with the rings. You just connect the bulb positive to the white output on the tail as turn module in addition to the brake light wire. So it is now

turn signal = rings + LED bulb.
Running lights = just rings.
Brakes = rings + LED bulb.

Please post a video. I haven't seen anyone do this and I was thinking about doing it but wasn't sure how it would look when I hit the brakes.

This is how I set mine up as well... I started with the OEM incandescent bulb for the turn signal but when flashing it wouldn't keep up with the rings so I swapped them for a set of amber led's from vled's and voila... perfection. I believe I posted a video of it on this thread a while back. Let me see if I can find it and repost.

Here's a video with the incandescent turn signal bulb (with the left side wired and right side stock still). Not sure if I took one after I switched the turn signal bulbs to LED's.

Will get a video when I can. It looks great and these Phillips LEDs are extremely bright. Goal was to be more visible when turning and braking and it was achieved.

If you are looking for the brightest LED replacement, our XP80s produce 510 lumens (measured) and will produce more output than other LED market options.

2GoRNot2G, if you don't mind, would you share where you'd purchased your diffuser with markers from? It's very reminiscent of my Mazdaspeed 3, and I love the look on a G!

If you guys want to send me a sample, I'd be happy to give them a try but for 90 dollars a pair for a design that ISNT unique to diode dynamics does not justify the gamble of switching from my Phillips that are designed with regular bulb housings in mind. Don't mean to rag on your product, I'm very particular when it comes to vehicle lighting.

It is actually a unique design, despite having a similar appearance to other bulbs on the market:

The components and circuit design are completely different. In addition, our LED replacements are measured to provide accurate lumen numbers vs. throwing out an estimation or completely guessing like many others.

It's also a risk-free proposition, as we offer a completely hassle free 30-day return policy.

We are very particular about lighting as well

Thanks for the nice words, Shuura. The rear diffuser is from Access Evolution. It's tough to find one and you may have to have it imported from Japan, but it a quality piece with one-piece construction and it includes the lower LED lights along with all the wiring need to install them. I simply just wired them into my DD Tails-to-Turn module and they work perfectly in conjunction will my rear taillights and turn signals.
