Tinting Advice - Carbon vs Standard Dyed
Tinting Advice - Carbon vs Standard Dyed
Looking for some opinions on if the pricing premium for a carbon based tint is worth it over a standard dyed tint.
I've been quoted by a Huper Optiks dealer $240 for carbon based and $170 for standard dyed. Looking to get 35% tints on my front, back and rear windows on my 2010 G37x Sedan. Is that a decent deal or expensive around New Haven, CT?
Thanks the the help!

Just got off the phone with them and actually the Huper Optik Extreme is $299. The $240 is for SunTek carbon. Now I need to decide if the darker Huper Extreme tints are worth another $60 bucks over the SunTek carbon, which as he described aren't as dark but perform better than the Huper's from a heat blockage perspective. Decisions, decisions!!
