If you plan on keeping things simple are you sure you don't want to try doing it yourself?
Here's a nice write up Anthony put together that should take out most of the guesswork https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...lens-swap.html
If you have a spare weekend that should be all it takes and that includes plenty of time for beer
i really would love to do it myself, its just that i dont trust myself when it comes to baking my headlights or anything like that
It's not the effort, I'll sweat and bleed with any other guy out there, but I just don't want to give you a promise, take your money, and deliver anything less than exactly what you wanted. It's not fair to you, and I'd feel bad about taking your money. I also accept payment in beer and rides to/from the airport when I go on trips, lol.
I'm not too far from you, i10 and beltway 8, pick out a weekend (not this one), and we can probably get you all lined out.
lol dont feel bad! please take my money, it will be money well spent
As for paint...I dunno. Other guys chime in on what you used. It gets pretty hot in there, so VHT might be a good idea.
I used duplicolor engine enamel. The paint has held up pretty well against Houston's heat. Except when I took apart my driver's side again to reseal due to condensation and accidentally chipped some of it..

Those look almost like mine, I used "enamel for plastic" paint, not sure on the brand though I also used Nightshades on the side marker to retain the reflection properties and get glow through the marker.
