Flasher is built into the V3 triton. Get the entire system from them. I put red ones in my rear turn signals as well.

I was contemplating getting the v3 triton in the switchback for my coupe. I would like to ask here, the white switchback part is not always on when the car is running is it?

What I was wanting to do (might not be possible) was to get the v3 switchbacks, put them in the coupe turn signals and have them run white as DRLs, then if the turn signal was hit or flashers they would turn amber.

I think my sticking point will be getting them to run white all the time since the turn signals are only powered when they are used for signaling, correct?

They are NOT drls. Have to turn them on. it's possible to have just the driving light (turn signal) and parking light on in the front of the vehicle, however this turns on your dash lights and tails/ license plate as well.

How do the new bulbs compare to stock as far as visibility and light output? Is night time or low light visibility the same, less than or greater than stock? Also how much were the headlight bulbs?

More than you can afford pal... Jk. Got the xetronics from xtralights.com

xetronic 6000k D2s

The light output seems lightly increased only because the switchbacks are so bright. The color reflection off the asphalt however looks sweet. The color match is pretty Uniform from all 3 bulbs...

Were the V3 switchbacks pretty much plug and play ?? is there a resistor required for those?

The resistor is built into the base of the switchback. That's why you pay out the wazoo for them. And they're really bright from what I've seen.

that's awesome then , well they are expensive but for the quality and light output they provide I guess they are well worth it... and will replace my current 5000k LED switcbacks from VLEDS that aren't as well visible in daylight as I would want them to be !
