2013 Sedan Sport headlight replacement help

Hey guys im a new 2013 G37 sedan sport owner and i recently wanted to change my headlights from 4300k to 6000k. So i ordered D2S bulbs off eBay and when theshop installed them they told me they flickered and turned off. The shop said they then tried D4S bulbs and they fit like a glove and stayed running. I've read on your forum that its 100% a D2S bulb replacement and nothing else. I am very confused as I was told by the shop to order a new set of bulbs. Can anyone please direct me to the right bulbs and brand.. Oh yeah and I installed 7443 dual turn signals led which are beginning to hyper flash with resisters so I ordered another pair of resisters. I appreciate all the advice as im egar to have this upgrade done asap.

Congrats to your new purchase. I too have a 2013 G37S Sedan and love it. In the manual that the headlight bulbs state that it is a D2S bulb. I dont know how a D4S bulb fit like a glove. Hopefully someone will chime it and give more insight. I plan to change mine too..so I am subscribed as to what the results are.

I read in the user's manual that says 2013 on it that the headlamps take only D2S so I decided to go from a 15$ pair of D2S bulbs to a $30 pair which claim they are German made with a lifetime warranty http://www.ebay.com/itm/310672960259?item=310672960259&viewitem=&vxp=mtrHopefully this works cuz my next option is Phillips which is a lot of money (200$ for bulbs) or trying D4S bulbs :-/

I researched and found out that "cheaper" non OEM HID bulbs cause flickering and shutdown.

My decision was to go for the best!
