HID Replacement Help

I am changing out my HID headlight bulbs and I replaced the deivers side bulb with no problem, but I seem to have difficulty getting the passenger side bulb to lock in place. The bulb locks into place and the silver bracket seems to be in the right place, but when I go to put the power backing on the bulb and bracket and bulb become loose. I'm not sure what I did wrong. Are the headlight housings exactly the same on each side (i would assume so)? I think the silver bracket keeps coming loose but can't seem to get it to lock into place so that the power backing stays in tight. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Not sure what is wrong, but does the stock bulb have the same issue/results?

No. The stock one was fine. I just wonder if I'm having difficulty because I don't have much coordination with my lift hand and I didn't take th e tires off. Not sure though.

The bulbs only fit one way, due to the notch.
As long as it is sitting in correctly and the metal wire is clamped on, then it shouldn't come loose.
Make sure both sides of the wire is correctly clamped within their tabs.

When I had my Osrams CBI HID bulbs installed, one of the tabs was broken off and the bulb wouldn't aim correctly.
I had the shop correct this problem by making another groove for the wire clamp to sit in and re-bend it so it can hold and keep the bulb in position...now everything is fine.

Yeah thats kind of what I thought. Maybe the silver clamp isn't sitting right. I'm getting swift springs installed tomorrow so while the tire is off I'll try to get it fixed.

Thanks for the insight!
