spoiler removal question

my 2008 g37 coupe has the rear spoiler, of which has cracked after the 3M tape has come loose.

Need to know if the rear spoiler is simply an outer shell that is held by tape thats over the chrome piece which i believe houses the camera.

grabbing at straws b/c i'm really not sure how all is held together, however was planning on attempting to remove next weekend.

Is the spoiler only held by tape? Can i remove and leave all else in tact?

Any feedback is appreciative.

Im pretty sure its held on by screws and tape...And I dont believe the chrome piece will be under there. pretty sure it gets taken off and the spoiler replaces it. Not 100% sure though..anyone else wanna chime in?

I removed the cracked spoiler yesterday, the chrome piece was underneath and intact which housed the rearview camera. Appears the spoiler was an outershell that went over the chome piece, not sure if it was an aftermarket buy from previous owner or not.

i got 3 holes to plug, any ideas?

Buy a new spoiler and put it on, they aren't very much and look far better than that chrome piece.

Sounds aftermarket ... My OEM required the removal of the chrome one as you use those two bolt holes. This was for the non-camera version though.
