Has anyone bought this spoiler?

I like the simplicity of this spoiler and that it's carbon fiber. I'm just leery of it being an ebay part and it being cheap garbage. It's very tempting for the price. I also can't figure out why the sport model isn't listed in any of the auctions for this spoiler.

The main reason I didn't buy this was because there are no pictures of it from the rear on the car. I tried messaging them to see if they could send me some pictures, but they said they didn't have any. I just decided to go with OEM instead, which was most likely the better choice IMO.

That spoiler is shipped from China & is held on by 100% tape. Not for me.

Please please do not buy this royal piece of ****. I sold mine a few days after I got it. The fitment is horrible, the edges of the spoiler don't sit fully flush to the trunk. The carbon fibre itself looks really weird also, it almost looked like it was laid down really un even. This spoiler is meant to slide over the chrome piece on your trunk, and because the inside of the spoiler is extremely abrasive it will scratch up the chrome piece and any paint it touches.

The factory spoiler is probably the first mod that anyone should do the the sedan. While it's not dirt cheap like some of the eBay knock-offs, it is reasonably priced and changes the personality of the car 120%. I really think the sedan should have included the factory spoiler in Sport package.

Once you see the chrome beret removed from the trunk lid and replaced with the OEM spoiler, you will kick yourself for taking so long to make the decision.

I purchased mine from the dealer (Father's Day Present) with a coupon I found online and had them install, for alot less than you might think...money well spent.

I had fun buying the factory front sport lip. Im thinking more and more that I'm just going to get an OEM wing. Now the question is where's the best price?

depends on the color. check eBay first. if they don't have it, discountinfinitiparts.com was where I found my color for the cheapest.

Take a look at the 25% off coupon ($300 MSRP) here: Perry Infiniti Parts eStore

These are the guys I bought my spoiler from....

On the first-gen, there were a couple of decent aftermarket spoilers I liked better than the OEM one (I even installed one on my 2004), but on the 3rd gen, I am not found of any of the aftermarket spoilers.

Infiniti Discount OEM Parts and Accessories is one of the few places that actually has a lower base price before the coupon. ($425MSRP) $361 - 25% = $292 shipped.

https://discountinfinitiparts.com/ doesn't need a coupon, just had decent prices. $298 shipped.
