Small paint bubble

Hey guys so I just had my 2011 sport bumper put on and I noticed today right at the very top there is the smallest paint bubble.. But i can almost lift it up in that very small place. Any suggestions on how I could fix this myself without it becoming a bigger problem or having to go back and have the entire bumper repainted... I'll try to take a high quality enough pic later...

Without a pic, it's kinda hard to speculate. But if it's small enough, you might be able to remove the bubble and fix it with touch up paint. The problem is, if the paintjob is recent and it's bubbling, it was not cleaned properly before the spraying, which caused the paint to not adhere right. I hope this is not the beginning of a nightmare man...

Post some pics soon to see what others think.

So I'm guessing you had it painted? If so...bring it back to the body shop that did the work. If its not cured to the ABS plastic, that paint bubble will get bigger.... bring it back and have them fix their mistake.

See I tried to take a picture but not even my 4S camera can pick it up. Its so small and I guess I only noticed it because of me being a perfectionist. Its like a bubble but it isnt.. Its barely lifting up on the edge on the top of the bumper above the grill... If that helps at all

Damn spam bots...

Yeah sounds like its pretty small, but just bring it back to them and they should be able to fix it without hassle if you went to a reputable shop.

You think they will have to repaint the entire thing or something more minor?

I think they could do a blend, but depending on how good they are at painting. I'm assuming they aren't. I'd request to repaint the entire bumper. Otherwise it could be off color.

Exactly. A good shop would be able to touch it up and you'd never notice, but seeing as there's a bubble to begin with, I don't know how much credit you want to give them, but mistakes happen. I'd just tell them make it right, but let them know you want the end product to be perfect and for them to do whatever it takes to get it that way. If they screw it up again, just have them paint the entire thing over again. We had a mirror cover go back to our body shop we use 5 times because the customer wasn't satisfied.

^^^ Now that's the good customer service we all miss from the good ol' days...

To the OP, did they give you any type of warranty for their work?
