Quick HID questionn

Im trying to get 10,000K hids for my sedan and I was wondering if I can just buy the bulbs and use the stock oem balast? Or do I have to buy the whole kit?

You should be able to just buy the bulbs. Just make sure they are the same type of bulb wattage and all with output being 10k vs 4300
