There was a big mix up with the Sport bumper and the Aero bumper grilles. I didn't think the Aero/IPL grilles were available unless you bought the bumper.

Just wanted to point that out. Sorry if all of that has been confirmed and it is the correct grille. Just trying to help avoid a mix up.

 

I will have an answer for you next week. If the grill fits behind the ICC module I'm gonna leave it as it. I don't the cruise control at all but if it doesnt fit I will have the body shop do a cut out for it. No need to spend extra $ IMO

 

That part number was confirmed for IPL/Aero Tech package via VIN#.

I hear ya, but Nissan/Infiniti use the same parts system all over. I was told that the individual grille pieces were not available for sale by themselves.

That part number was also used in this thread for J. Oh who was looking for the lower center grille piece on the 2008 Sport bumper. This was back in June 2010 when the Aero bumper hadn't been released yet.

I am not 100% on this so I probably shouldn't be questioning it, but I just didn't want to see someone get the wrong part and deal with the hassle.

 

Well if that is the case, the Infiniti Data base needs to be updated along with FAST. We ran a AERO car vin with Tech package and that is the part numbers it spit out.

I can't believe that you can't order just that piece, it is not like the Bumper is a one off item, but I guess anything is possible with Nissan.

 

I am pretty sure you are able to order individual parts for the 2011 Aero bumpers such as grilles which can come with tech pkg or without tech pkg. As far as ordering parts for the 2010 Anniversary edition style bumpers, I think that is a no go. Is that what your asking?

 

So who has received OB bumpers so far? I'm #13 on the list I guess I'm behind VOSSENG37s...

Is anyone considering doing a clear bra install on these bumpers? I wonder how much that will run given that the shape the bumper will probably be tough to do...

 

Dude!!! I was just thinking the same thing!! I wonder if brad can get a local clear bra guy to cut us a killer deal on them, and then brad can ship em out to us already clear bra'd. Maybe he can make an option of ordering it with or without clear bra, and add it to the order. Someone call him! lol
