You have a 2010 with a 2010 AERO bumper?? As in "Limited Edition" Aero??

If so, and the car came without fogs, then you will need a slim washer bottle.
The slim bottle was a 2011 release for the Sport bumper, and IPL, as they came factory with fogs.

Look in the DIY section, in the stickies, I wrote a fog wiring DIY.

 

If you're gonna get HID fog lights, then you won't need the pigtails. I got mind from ddmtuning. Not very expensive at all. worth getting over just buying pigtails and upgrading the bulbs. I got 4500K for the fogs and it is bluer/whiter than the stock headlights. my fogs kind of shows how yellow our stock HID are.

 

^^Great, how much is the DDtuning fog hid kit? Is your fogs controlled independent, or by the main headlight switch in where you must have your headlights on, to turn on the foglights, I hate that! I guess with 4500K fogs, a pair of 5300K or 6000K headlights will look nice? BTW, this sounds stupid, but when you do this. The original foglights just stay there with a dead bulb, no purpose, no use? I heard people with 4 foglights, WOW!

I want just a litltle hint of blue, but more BRIGHT. Or is headlighsts with 6000K with 4500K foglights better option?

 

I dont believe mine is the Limited because I dont have red seats, but the dealer did say i have 348HP, not the 330... ugh lol.

Thank you for pointing me towards the sticky, going over to that next. I also went to the Parts Dept asking to buy the grill with the fog light hole, or at least the part number, and they looked at me like i have 2 heads.. Does anyone know where i can get the fog grills? I also called infinitiparts.com and they had no idea..

Post a trade in the classifieds. Quite a few around here would be more than happy to not have lower fogs!!

 

The dealership is dumb. I started noticing some dealerships adding aero bumpers to their cars. You don't have 348 unless you have an IPL, which you obviously don't because they come with fogs and made in 2011. You either have a regular g37 with an anniversary bumper or you have the 2010 anniversary edition without red seats or lastly a regular 2010 g37 and someone added the kit as an option.

But yeah I am sure that a lot of people on here would swap with you.

price ranges from $283 up tp $1500 thats a HUGE price difference

 

If you look carefully you'll notice that it's only the black and white bumpers that had their prices increase. Assuming you have one of these colors...what I would do is buy one of the other colors and then get it painted by a local shop.

 

As others mentioned, you can use 2 sets of fogs. You will have to buy the slim washer reservoir, as the Aero bumper is compatible with the standard washer reservoir, it's the fogs that get in the way so you will have to buy the slimmer one if you want lower fogs, it's about $100. As someone else mentioned, I too am willing to swap IPL fog grilles for Aero grills.

You don't have factory 348 horsepower unless it's an IPL. The dealer might have been referring to aftermarket hp gains, but more likely he was just full of ****e.
