So is there a fix to this yet besides simply getting the panels replaced and waiting for them to get scratched up again? Whats the difference between the 2010 models seat belt retractor?

It moves freely when the belt is on the seat which causes noise also. The retractor doesnt seem to pull back enough and always leaves my seatbelt loose.

I have ZERO scratches or problems...I don't understand where everyone is getting this problem from

what? when the belt is on the seat? if it doesn't pull the seatbelt tight then just check to see if something is wrong...I just click the plastic holder up once and it doesn't touch the seat or the door

The seat belt retractor mechanism on the 09 vert is just a tad weak to retract fully all the time. I'm not sure if the 2010 addresses this. I'll need to see if the dealers I go to are up to speed to making adjustments or just replacing it. In the mean time all passengers get a warning on making sure the seatbelt is all the way up.
