ANyone had the dealer repair the glossy black window trim?

The other day I figured out how to lock myself out of my car (fob in gymbag, gymbag in trunk). So... I called Infiniti roadside assistance, who quickly sent a service to unlock my car. They did so successfully, but marred the glossy black trim on my driver's window.

My service tech said that they don't need to replace the trim, but instead, they only need to "wrap" it with replacement film. They assured me it will look perfect. Has anyone had this done? What were the results?

I just don't want it to be worse than it is right now, since there are only a few minor nicks.
