It's not like people who use regular gas or cheap oil. This is extraneous and grossly overpriced. I personally think it's kinda cool and it's nice to have everything (including instructions) in one package. But in the end, it is pretty overpriced so if you're not a huge fan, it really is not worth it. If it was $20-$40, it'd still be profitable and even the casual person who thought it was "just OK" would probably do it. Not saying infiniti should or would sell it that cheap, just saying.

Hey I was wondering how these worked exactly. In my maxima it had footwell lights that would cone on with the dome light. Are these lights constantly on while driving? Or does it work like my maxima did?

They are on whenever the headlights are on. (or parking lights)

My brothers 335xi has this along with my friends M3, I want to be able to have my driver and passenger side leg area lit up with this ambient lighting Infiiniti offers. My question is, will the light match that of center console accent light? and also has anyone done this to their car yet? Im planning on installing infiniti accesoriesthis once I buy it but is it really worth the $150? Feedback is appreciated. thanks guys

Infiniti Accent Lighting Kit
Infiniti accent lighting kit for $150 is actually the regular price range for this products but I've seen sites that offers a $100-$120 prices.

Should have asked here, we could have told you they are a single LED for each side. The light is supposed to be dim, since it's on all the time at night. It's plenty bright enough for their intended use. It's accent lighting, just enough glow to see things on the floor, etc.

Are the LEDs replaceable? As in could you switch out the LEDs similar to switching out the bulb in the glove box?

not really sure why it isn't equipped in every car, seems like such and inexpensive item.

I installed this kit yesterday. It wasn't too bad. Took me about an hour which included replacing the cabin filter.

However my climate control isn't working quite right this morning. It's on full blast heat with the Auto setting.
I wonder if I didn't get the connector plugged in all the way.

I made my own accent lighting kit for under $20, the LED's that I used match perfectly to the accent light that shines down from the dome light to center console. While you could just use a cheap potentiometer I just wanted to get all of my materials from one source. I used the same instructions that infiniti uses to install their accent light to install mines.

The best thing is that I can control the brightness of the LED's (I have mine set to the lowest setting)

(2) Little Dot SMD LED Accent Light - Natural White
(1) MLD-5A 12 Volt DC Single Color LED Mini Dimmer with Dynamic Modes
(2) Posi Taps

Little Dot SMD LED Accent Light | Pre Wired LEDs and LED Bolts | LED Accent Lighting | Super Bright LEDs

MLD-5A 12 Volt DC Single Color LED Mini Dimmer with Dynamic Modes | LED Controller & Dimmer Switches | LED Light Strips & Light Bars | Super Bright LEDs
