Ok so another member had asked about shaving the door handles & others opinions. Personally, I love the look, but have a fear of what to do when the battery dies. Another member mentioned adding the GT-R door handles. I love this idea!!

I didn't want to hijack the other thread so I started this one.

Is this possible? I searched a little on google & could only find something in a 300zx forum I think it was. Has any tried this? Would it be possible? I know anything is possible with money, but, is it realistic?

Would require some fairly significant body work on both doors. The button on the handle is just a button. If you look in the service manual, you can see that the actual sensor is in the body of the door itself. It would probably be some body work to get the handle to fit and activate the latch properly. Repaint the door, and hook up the button on the handle to the sensor in the door.

Ya, I was thinking probably about that...hmm...do I really care enough to spend 1000 on door handles...probably not. What would the HP gains be? Lol

^no not really, if its not needed.. only someone with spare change would do this undertaking -_-
