On my g37

i have smoked tail lights .. there smoked by paint , im wonderin how can i take it off (ticket) and i wanna put the overlays on the sort of look nice and i dont help me out

I can barely understand what you are saying.

Try trading tail lights with another member.

Paint thinner should get the paint off but not sure what it would do to the tail lights plastic?

Then get bluebatmobile's tail light overlays and have a pro like Sticker City install it.....

There are a ton of threads on overlays so try SEARCHING around the forum for'em

the tails will never be the same, if you use thinner they will look super dull.

dam let me like clear it up a bit for you guys, i smoked my tail lights by using paint... super clean job, but i got a ticket and its very dark... so i taught i should put on the overlays and remove the paint, i wonder if is there any way i can restore my lights to brandnew status or close

best bet would be to sell the smoked taillights (someone will buy them) and buy stock ones...

Yeah you wont get the paint off without effing up the tail lights at least a little.

Since your tails are custom... Post some pics and try to trade with someone who has stockies...Make them pay shipping both ways and call it a deal!

Theirs a few people already trying to swap smoked tails if you have no luck with that make sure to take the tails off the car before using paint thinner....

If your gonna put overlays on again the dullness wont really affect you until you take those off
