High Beam Clunk noise

So I noticed today as I was pulling in the driveway, i stopped waiting for garage to open and as I turned my high beams off and on I can hear a clunking noise under the hood. Then I reproduced that noise after i pulled in the garage. Has anyone else ever heard this noise? I've never heard it while driving but only when sitting still. I've never heard this on any of my previous cars!

Well our highbeams aren't a seperate light like some vehicles, I believe the housing uses mirrors and redirects the light. So you might be hearing that moving. But mine doesn't make a noticeable clunk noise.

I can hear mine when the car is off and the lights are on, but I've never noticed it with the engine running.

If you have no other noise like radio, etc. it is very noticeable. It's normal. If I pull into the garage with window down and shut off the car, it sounds very loud when I switch it inside the quiet garage.
