Sorry man, Bossho hasn't logged in on over 6 years...very unlikely you'll get any reply from him...the Photobucket debacle from a couple of years ago has really screwed over so much information posted on forums, if you come up with a new solution for this issue please start a new thread and post up about it, good luck

Definitely going to do this mod.

I'm 6'3, 215 and those dang things pinch my sides like nobody's business.

Going to post the pics in case PHotobucket decides to delete them.

Sorry to revive an ancient thread but I could use some help. I am going to alter the bolsters in my sport seats (Im a big guy and they are too tight), but not sure where to cut the metal bar....and it seems the thread pics have disappeared.
Do I cut the bar at the posts or along the top?
Thanks to anyone that has done this and can advise.

Full disclosure- it has been well over 10 years since I helped my neighbour with this project and both he and the car are gone. That said, IIRC, you just cut the brace at the 2 weld joints and use a file to smooth over any rough edges.

You are just removing that wire piece from the main seat frame. Others may correct me if I am wrong but I am 99% sure that is how we did it on his car.
