i believe you have to go thru the wheel wells, unbolt 2 10mm bolts on each side, take out the pop clips up top in the engine bay and bamm you should get it from there!!

not at all..turn the wheelin on the side you are going to do first...there should be pop clips, pop em out, then there should be 1 small screw towards the headlight, take that out, peel back the fender well, and then theres 2 10mm bolts...bamm then that side will come off...

Download and decompress the service manual. The grill removal procedure is on page 19 and 20 of ext.pdf.

1. Fully open hood assembly.
2. Remove reservoir tank. Refer to CO-15, "Removal and Installation".
3. Remove radiator core support ornament. Refer to DLK-214, "Removal and Installation".
4. Remove front grille mounting nuts (A).
5. Disengage pawls (A) of fixing front grille.
6. Pull front grille out toward vehicle front.
7. Remove the following parts after removing front grille.

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Follow these instructions and you wont have any problem. Took me like 30 minutes.

It's really easy. The hardest part is getting the radiator support ornament to pull over the back two notches. You'll see what I'm talking about when you do it. You'll also have to pull and tug at your front fascia, which you have to be careful with so you don't crack it or more importantly the paint.

One final note. Make sure you torque the bolts back on properly. I learned the hard way, but over torquing the bolts can screw with the hood release cable and cause your hood to not close properly. I was scratching my head for an hour till I figured out what the heck was going on.
