Should’ve left it to the pros.... PLS

I was trying to install a grom audio vline kit into my 2010 g37. Once I finished installing I turned on the car and the LEDs on the radio and ac controls are on but nothing else seems to work. My screen doesn’t come on at all and I’m pretty sure I messed something up but I don’t know what. I ran through all the fuses I believed could be the cause but no fuse appeared to be broken. I ordered a new head unit installed it and still experiencing the same problem. Just ordered a new AC control panel maybe that’ll fix it. Does anyone know what else I can try? Any response is appreciated.

Did you at least try to uninstall the GROM unit, ie. go back to stock before you started throwing parts at it? I am not familiar with the GROM unit but here are some things you can easily check.

Keep in mind there are three fuse boxes: driver footwell, relay box in front of battery, and the IPDM/er located next to the battery. I don't have the FSM in front of me but if I recall enough from my swap project there are 3 or 4 fuses tied to the AV system.

If the LED'S are lighting up on the switch panel then at least that has power. Other suggestions:
¹Put your ear as close to the headunit as you can and turn the key on/off: do you hear the hard drive power up/shut down?
²Try inserting a CD- does anything happen?
³Do you at least see the Infiniti Splash Screen when you start up?
⁴Are you sure the GROM unit has power?

Assuming there is power, the suspect then is a COM (communications) error. Everything might be working fine but nobody is talking to each other. Again, possibly tied to whatever you did installing the GROM unit.

For now: ¹double check fuses, ²verify power/ground (if you have multimeter), ³verify proper installation and/or remove GROM and see if the stock system returns to normal.
