I see quite a few different ideas/modifications people try to do, just to get streaming functionality from their Android phones. That's where I'm at... Just bought a 2013 G37x W/O nav. Music is a straight up necessity for me, no way around it.

It appears that replacing the factory head unit is not the way to go, which is fine because I like how it looks. Unless I went with that giant Tesla Android thing, but I'm not spending $700 right away just to get music. It's 2019 there has to be an easier or simpler way to be able to do this with the integrated USB port or something.

So far I've seen the bt45-INFI, which comes in around $130 on Amazon. Doesn't seem like a terrible option. Might lose some functionality.

And the Wirelinq from GROM audio. Which is a USB type-c to USB for cars/docks that only recognize iPhones...? That comes in at $30 from their website. This option supposedly retains steering wheel functionality and will display details on the infotainment center.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I have a Google Pixel 2 XL if that matters.
