This question has probably been asked a million times over and over.

I want to put AUX cable in my car, unfortunately I do not have the NAV unit so i cannot pair my phone. on top the USB port I have doesn't work at all. Every time I try to put a USB I get a connection error.

I have looked at many option and found the GROM unit, the bluetooth type and just AUX type.

Bluetooth obviously is bluetooth self explanatory.

The AUX type uses the SAT/ XM port. So you will disable the satellite radio function (which I do not use) and use a module for AUX CABLE which I can run the cable to my center counsel and plug my phone.

Has anyone tried this or any alternative?
